Where retirement becomes a second childhood having shed the responsibilities of the work-a-day world, these spirited seniors compete with dull old skates, mish mashed hockey equipment and the odd pace maker! These old guys are proving that growing old is simply a state of mind.
Set against a backdrop of classical music we follow "Red" the trapper, "Hubcap" the former cowboy, Dan the ambulance attendant who joined the old timers in case anyone arrested on the ice, and the rest of the VOTs as they prepare for their "big game" against their much younger arch rivals, the Kootenay Wildcats (women's team).
