For three years in Vancouver, Canada, a group of gay men challenged HIV, on behalf of a world at risk. They are part of the first-ever human trials of an AIDS vaccine. This is the story of three of those men— ALAN, NEIL and DAVID.
AIDS is not gay. AIDS is not African. It’s global. Today 40 million people live with the disease worldwide. Six thousand children are infected every day. It is a plague beyond anything in human experience. By being part of this trial, Alan, Neil and David could save millions of lives.
